General info

Krakow was the capital of Poland up until the 16th century. The city has managed to preserve its historical monuments of Poland. You will find there one of the oldest Jewish necropolis, Remuh cemetry founded in the 16th century. Other interesting places are the the Royal Castle on the Wawel hill, salt mining in Wieliczka (15 km), Wadowice birthplace of pope John Paul the 2nd, 50 km and the Concentration Camp in Oswiecim 60 km. Historical, busy town with 800'000 inhabitants, 295 km south from Warszawa, 75 km east from Katowice, 114 km south-east from Częstochowa. In the resort: shopping centre, supermarket, shops, grocery, butchery, bakery, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, disco, night club, casino, concerts, evening entertainment, museum, cinema, attractions.
