Apartment block "Castagnola (Utoring)". In the resort 3 km from the centre of Lugano, in a quiet, sunny position on a slope, south-east facing position. In the house: reception, lift, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra). Motor access to the house. Public parking 15 m on the road extra. Shop 1.6 km, restaurant, café 200 m, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "San Michele" 30 m, railway station "Lugano SBB-CFF-FFS". Golf course (18 hole) 13 km, tennis 1.6 km, minigolf 13 km, walking paths from the house 10 m. Nearby attractions: Gandria 2 km, Swiss Miniatur, Melide 10 km, Museum of Chocolat, Caslano 13 km, Outlet Fox Town, Mendrisio 22 km, Lido di Lugano 1.6 km, Mercato: Ponte Tresa IT, Como IT. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Lago di Lugano, Lago di Como, Lago Maggiore. Hiking paths: Monte Bré, San Salvatore, Monte Tamaro, & Splash and SPA, Malcantone, Monte Lema. Please note: Additional accommodations can be booked. Property ref. CH6976.100 is situated on the same property. All houses/apartments are individually designed/furnished. ,The flat house is located at the foot of Monte Bré. It offers a magnificent view over the bay of Lugano and Monte San Salvatore. (not from apartment 208, which does not have a view of the lake.) Some parking spaces (8 in total) are available (CHF 56.00 / week). Please note: The parking space can only be confirmed and allocated upon arrival. Public parking spaces (blue zone, paid) are available nearby. Important: The parking card for the blue zone must be obtained from the city / police (CHF 10.00 / day, CHF 30.00 / week, max. 3 weeks). Information on site. The parking of bicycles is not possible. Bus line 2 goes directly from / to Lugano station 200 m in front of the residence!

Location Description Castagnola

272 m a.s.l. >>Large, well-known town directly by the Lago di Lugano. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Indoor aquatic centre. Lugano is celebrated for its congress, the banks, the businesses and also for its flowers, its villas and its moderate climate. Is has lush vegetation and beautiful landscapes. The mixture of the Italian atmosphere and Swiss efficiency is captivating. The historical town centre, which is pedestrian only is inviting with it's various arcades, museums, boutiques and restaurants. It is also a great place to sit, relax and watch the world go by. Good starting point for trips to: San Salvatore and the Mountain Bre (mountain railway) or towards the lake. Fete in October.
